Tethys Oil, genom det helägda dotterbolaget Tethys Oil Montasar Ltd (”Tethys”), har tecknat avtal med EOG Resources Oman Block 49 Limited (“EOG”), ett helägt dotterbolag till EOG Resources, Inc., enligt vilket EOG erhåller 50 procents intresseandel i prospekterings- och produktionslicensen över Block 49, vilken täcker en yta om 15 439 km[2] onshore Oman.
